Former Netherlands striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes Aston Villa striker Morgan Rogers. Has the potential to become a similar player to Chelsea forward Cole Palmer.

    The 22-year-old joined Aston Villa from Middlesbrough in January for £8million. And has started all 10 of their Premier League games this season. Most recently scoring in the 4-1 defeat at Spurs – his third of the season UFABET  

    As a former Manchester City academy graduate like Palmer. Hasselbaink believes Morgan Rogers has the similarities to make the step up to success.

    “I’m sure he’s on the radar of a lot of fans because he’s done so well since he joined Aston Villa.” Hasselbaink told Lucky Block.

    “He’s a great youngster, I really like him. He play with Palmer at Manchester City (in the academy). And he’s follow the same path as Palmer in terms of believing in his talent to make the step up to the Premier League by leaving a club as big as Manchester City.”

    “I love that about Rogers, he left City for Middlesbrough in the Championship and was unbelievable at my old club. He went to Aston Villa and he’s one of the best players in the team since he’s there. The impact he’s had on the club in that short period of time has incredible. He’s also done well in the Champions League.”
