Former Arsenal sporting director Edu set to join Evangelos Marinakis. But it remains unclear whether it will be at Nottingham Forest.

Sky Sports reports that Edu, who resigned as Arsenal’s sporting director has agreed in principle to work with Marinakis. The owner of several clubs. One of which is Nottingham Forest UFABET  

Edu is reportedly making the decision himself and is awaiting clarification on his role working with Marinakis. Who is likely to be in a new role. As well as an official confirmation of the deal, with the Brazilian admitting it was a difficult decision to make. While Arsenal are left disappointed with the decision.

The Times, another British media outlet, also reported that Edu is set to join Marinakis. But it has not been confirmed which club. The Greek businessman owns three clubs: Olympiacos, Nottingham Forest and Rio Ave.

Edu, the 46 year old took up the role of Arsenal’s sporting director in July 2019 and has played a key role in the club’s recruitment drive. Having previously held similar roles at Corinthians. Served as assistant coach to Carlos Queiroz at Iran and held the general liaison role at Brazil.

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is reportedly looking to expand his football empire by acquiring another club, this time in Brazil. This comes after Edu’s shock departure from Arsenal earlier this month. With the opportunity to work within a multi-club set-up being a key factor in his decision.
